1898 – 2018: 120 years of artistic metalwork in Rennes
120 years, or maybe longer?
On the celebration of the Journées des Savoir-Faire d’Excellence (event for artisanal companies) on 12th and 13th October 2018, the Crézé team invited its clients, influencers, architects, partners and suppliers to celebrate the company’s 120th birthday, with the earliest identified records of the company dating back to 1898. At that stage, it was a forge workshop operating from opposite the cathedral, on rue de la Monnaie in Rennes. It was run by the Quinton family. How long had it been there at that point though?
