Who are we?
Crézé: working in alignment with tradition whilst opening the door to modernity
In 1984, Rémi Crézé succeeded Jean Ody at the head of this artisan business, created in 1898 by the Quinton family. He took over the company and gained renown and recognition across three fields:
- IRONWORK (style and contemporary).
- METALLIC DESIGN, offering a touch of modernity to architectural decoration.
- CRAFTING SKYLIGHTS, canopies and awnings.
Transferred late 2015 to Gaël Hardy, the company employs around twenty people including five design and project technicians. All of us share work in respect for our traditions and creative passion.
The company is now shifting its focus to export by completing projects for foreign markets. Within the next five years, Crézé would like to see 30% of its turnover attributed to international business.
The company is well and truly part of the 21st century with its 3D design techniques and new workshop. This modernity - a key feature of the company's development - ties in perfectly with the ancestral know-how of working with steel, stainless steel and brass, that gave the company its reputation.
This expert know-how enabled Crézé to obtain the precious EPV label (French Living Heritage Company label) in 2016.
